Step 1: Refresh or Reload the Game Page

Sometimes, the Roblox Error Code 429 can be temporary or caused by a momentary glitch. You can fix the issue by refreshing or reloading the game page. Just close the game window or tab, then reopen it and try to replay the game. If the error persists, then follow the second step.

Step 2: Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Browser cache and cookies have sometimes been confirmed to be the cause of the error, so clearing your browser cache and cookies can possibly be the solution to the error. If you’re using Google Chrome, you can clear the browser cache and cookies like this:

  1. Click on the three-dot button located at the top right corner of the browser
  2. Go to “More tools” and select “Clear browsing data.”
  3. After that, select “Cached images and files” and “Cookies and other site data.”
  4. Choose the desired time range or select “All time” to clear all data.

For Safari Browser:

  4. Under the “Cookies and website data” section, click on the “Manage Website Data” button.

  6. To remove all stored data, click on the “Remove All” button. Alternatively, you can select specific websites and click on the “Remove” button to delete data for those sites only.
  7. Confirm your action by clicking on “Remove Now” in the pop-up window.
  8. To clear the cache, go back to the Preferences window and click on the “Advanced” tab.
  9. Enable the option “Show Develop menu in menu bar” at the bottom of the window.
  10. Close the Preferences window, and you should now see a new “Develop” option in the top menu.
  11. Click on “Develop” and select “Empty Caches” from the drop-down menu.
  12. Safari will clear the cache, and you should see a confirmation in the Develop menu.

  • Quickly hover over to your setting by pressing the shortcut key Win + I
