How to get Glo football data plan
It’s pretty much easy to purchase the football data bundle by Glo. No special requirements are needed. You don’t need to be a new or old Glo customer, or even subscribe to a special tariff plan to enjoy the bundle.
This Glo football data plan comes in two variants – the N500 for 4GB bundle, and N1000 for 10GB bundle. To buy any one of them; Dial *777# > Data > Football Data Plan > SPECIAL DATA PACK.
If that day is a match day, the two special bundles will be displayed. However, if it’s not a match day, you will get the below message.
To be more precise with you on this, the football plan is available for purchase on Saturdays from 12:30PM to 7:30PM, this is because early EPL kickoffs typically begin by this time.
For Sunday’s, the football bundle is available for purchase from 2:00PM to 6:30PM.
Can I use the Glo football bundle to power all apps?
Yes, the package is not limited to football matches alone. Even though the data plan is a football bundle made for match streaming. You can also use it to browse anything on the internet, download files, chat, etc. The downside there is that the data pack is only available during match days.
When does the Glo football bundle expire or how long does it lasts?
The Glo football bundle plan is valid for just 24 hours so it expires after one day.
Can I accumulate the Glo football data bundle?
Yes. Feel free to buy the data as much as you can. But make sure you exhaust the data within the match day week else it will expire.
