MTN Introduces WhoDeyCall Service To Help Detect A Caller

MTN Nigeria have reportedly introduced a new service called WhoDeyCall. The WhoDeyCall service is apparently live and working.

The WhoDeyCall service by MTN aids MTN users to clearly identity or detect who is calling them. The WhoDeyCall service by MTN now becomes a readily alternative to the Truecaller app.

Unlike the Truecaller app where you need an active data connection to detect the number that is calling you, WhoDeyCall allows you to do that without any active data connection.

The WhoDeyCall service will tend to be useful and beneficial to lots of MTN subscribers who will like to use the service.

How To Activate The MTN WhoDeyCall Service

As stated above, the WhoDeyCall service allows a user to detect who is calling him/her without an internet connection unlike Truecaller. But according to MTN, the WhoDeyCall service is not actually free as you will be required to pay a little token to activate the service.

The WhoDeyCall service comes in various plans. The daily, weekly, and monthly. All with different prices.

To activate the WhoDeyCall service on your line, simply dial the USSD code on your phone *5058#. Below are the lists of WhoDeyCall service plan.

• WhoDeyCall daily plan – N10
• WhoDeyCall weekly plan – N30
• WhoDeyCall monthly plan – N50

Alternatively you can activate the WhoDeyCall service via SMS.

• Text SC1 to 5058 for the WhoDeyCall daily plan
• Text SC2 to 5058 for the WhoDeyCall weekly plan
• Text SC3 to 5058 for the WhoDeyCall monthly plan
